Lineage Media Group (LMG) is a Black American-led nonprofit organization dedicated to using media as a vehicle for empowerment, education, and cultural preservation. Rooted in a commitment to serve the descendants of the enslaved, LMG creates programs and media assets that directly address critical issues facing Black American communities—from early childhood literacy and civic awareness to digital storytelling infrastructure and public engagement.
As part of our mission, we launched Read.Solve.Thrive., a nationally focused literacy and critical thinking initiative designed to close early education gaps in underserved communities. Through multimedia literacy kits, public education campaigns, and community-based programming, we aim to help every child unlock their full intellectual potential.
Looking ahead, LMG is expanding its impact through new initiatives, including independent journalism training workshops, oral history projects, and civic storytelling programs. Our vision is to tell the stories of our past, document the realities of our present, and preserve the truth for future generations—ensuring our people remain seen, heard, and empowered in every space that shapes our future.
